What the prototype handles.

Who is responsible

Benjamin Augustine Balitski operates Front Counter. For questions about this notice or a request concerning your information, email ben@frontcounter.org.

Visiting this website

This site’s code has no analytics, advertising pixels, embedded third-party media, tracking cookies, browser-storage identifiers, or collection forms. The hosting and network providers may process IP addresses, request details, and technical logs to deliver and secure the site. Their processing depends on the provider used for the deployment. This is not a promise that visiting creates no technical records.

Contacting us by email

If you email us, we receive your address, message, and any details or attachments you choose to include. We use them to respond, evaluate an inquiry, and maintain relevant project or business correspondence. Our domain email is provided through Proton Mail. Avoid sending sensitive information unless an appropriate process has been agreed.

Private phone prototype

The private prototype uses Twilio for telephony and speech processing. Its operator-controlled application can store call identifiers, timestamps, recognized speech, assistant responses, request text, topic labels, and operational status. Providers may process additional call metadata needed to deliver their services. Speech recognition can be inaccurate.

New audio-message recording is currently disabled in the prototype; recognized speech can still be converted to text and stored. Historical private test audio may exist. “Recording disabled” does not mean no provider processing occurs. These prototype details are not an invitation to submit real customer data.

SMS and customer pilots

Automatic SMS transcripts and remote customer accounts are not currently offered. Contacting us or visiting this site does not opt you into SMS. Before a customer pilot or messaging feature starts, its authorized operator, recipients, consent process, providers, access rules, and retention arrangements must be defined, with updated notices where needed.

Access, sharing, and retention

Information is used for the purposes above, relevant troubleshooting, security, and necessary recordkeeping. Providers may process it to supply their services. We do not sell contact or message data or share it with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information and messaging consent will not be shared for third-party marketing.

There is no automated deletion schedule currently implemented for private prototype records. Email and test records may remain until reviewed and deleted, and copies may persist in backups or provider systems. A retention and deletion process must be agreed before a customer pilot. Do not treat the prototype as a long-term records archive.

Requests and security

You may contact us about access, correction, or deletion of information you supplied. We may need to verify your identity and may need to retain certain records for legitimate obligations. This notice does not promise an unverified response deadline or absolute security. No system can guarantee against every loss or unauthorized disclosure.

Changes

We will update this page when the described practices materially change. Review it before participating in a new pilot or feature.
